Word Problems - Multiplication and Division

Walt: solve problems in financial literacy.

In this game I had to make a model to help me solve word problems. At first it was difficult, but as I went along it started to get use to it. I used multiplication to get my answer, so I had to find the product of 9 and 10, which is 90. Next I would like to learn more about this activity.

Division

Walt: Revise multiplication tables and the related division facts.

In this game I am practising my division. Here I have to find out what the quotient is of 18 and 6. The strategy I used was to find the product of 6 and 3, which is 18. So that is how I solved my problem. This game was really easy for me to do, because I know my multiplication and division. Next I would like to learn how to use efficient mathematical ways to solve a problem.

Division

What, I have done here is that I have been doing my division and I have been revising my work from last term. It was really difficult for me because I did not know the what the symbol was, but I got there anyway. I would really like Mrs Ramkolowan to give me more problems on multiplication and division.
